AccuProve is committed to providing an accurate, cost effective and environmentally responsible meter proving service to the petroleum industry by utilizing proven technology and highly skilled personnel.

AccuProve is a measurement services company that primarily engages in contract meter proving for the petroleum industry. The company has provided a mobile proving service throughout the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba since 1988. In addition to measurement accuracy, Accu-Prove is committed to safety and has operated without a single lost time accident or incident since commencing operations in 1988.

AccuProve presently operates two positive displacement meter provers.  We have a six inch 600# ANSI bi-directional ball prover and a 75 litre 600# ANSI Honeywell Enraf (Calibron) small volume prover.  Both of our provers are capable of operating at pressures up to 10 000 kPa.  All units meet American Petroleum Institute (API) specifications and are Measurement Canada certified.  We have the ability to prove meters with flow rates between 0.5 m3 per hour and 550 m3 per hour.

Meter factors are calculated using Flow Cal PROVEit software.  PROVEit is designed as a comprehensive, integrated software package conforming to API guidelines as contained in Chapter 12, Section 2, Part 3 (“Proving Reports”) of the current Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards. Using the latest API tables and report formats, PROVEit provides a step-by-step approach to ensure compliance with industry standards. Proving records are maintained for seven years in our company database.

Although AccuProve is primarily a meter proving company, we do endeavor to tailor our services to meet the particular requirements of our clients. In addition to providing a meter proving service, we offer consulting services on measurement related issues. We can also provide summaries of historical meter data in graphical or tabular format customized to a client’s needs.
